St. Mary's Diocesan School is a Catholic Secondary School committed to the development of the whole person offering equal opportunities to all to achieve their full potential in a familial Christian environment. The school aspires to an education based on high ideals and a broad curriculum which will allow our students to confidently play their role in society.

We pride ourselves on our achievements in academic, sporting, cultural and environmental areas. Some highlights:
Academic: 74% of our students went to third level in 2010 (Irish Times Oct 2010) Sports: We are U16 All Ireland soccer champions as well as achieving outstanding individual results in Athletics and a North Leinster title in basketball
Cultural: Two of our students Alex Hibbits & David O'Boyle were overall winners in the North Leinster Schools Got Talent Competition at the TLT (see article)
Environmental: We have increased our recycling of paper and plastics by 30% due to the efforts of our Green School Committee
