Letter to parents of students NOT close contacts 23/04

A single Covid 19 case has been identified in school-all HSE protocols have been followed and the school has worked with the HSE in contact tracing and setting up test. School management have spoken to all homes deemed a close contact by the HSE schools’ team and advised them of the next steps. However, if any student is experiencing symptoms, they should not come to school and the family GP should be contacted for advice. If a member of any student’s household has experienced symptoms and has been sent for/ is awaiting a test then the student should not come to school and follow HSE restricted movement guidelines. If a family member is undergoing testing due to symptoms you should restrict movements as above and contact the school at 0419837581 or at reception@stmarysds.ie to allow remote learning steps be put in place for the restriction time period. Any families with questions or concerns can contact the school at the above phone / email address too.
